Sophia Mitchem - Dakota Curling Club Representative

Sophia’s home club is Dakota Curling in Lakeville. She has been curling in leagues since 2024, but was a religious sub for about 4 years before that. 

Her favorite moment curling has to be the surprise curling party her family threw for her now husband and her shortly after he proposed. A great way to celebrate with everyone and introduce them all to their latest obsession!

Sophia is excited to bring her perspective and help continue to grow this amazing sport across Twin Cities clubs.
